In the Company of the Beloved ﷺ – A Journey Through the Forty Hadith with Shaykh Ibrahim

Imam Ibrahim Asif was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and completed his Ḥifdh at the age of 14. He enrolled in the Alimiyyah program at DarusSalam Seminary in Chicago, Illinois, and later traveled to Pakistan to complete his final year of study at Jaamiah al-Uloom al-Islamiyyah. There, he completed his Alimiyyah studies, earned an M.A. in Arabic and Islamic Studies, and received ʾijāzāt in the six canonical books of Hadith from renowned scholars. Upon returning to the United States, he continued his pursuit of Islamic scholarship and completed a Master’s degree in Islamic Theology.

Imam Ibrahim currently serves as an Imam at the Diyanet Center of America and as a faculty member and instructor at the INK Foundation. Alongside his local responsibilities, Imam Ibrahim travels for Daʿwah, with a focus on community building, youth engagement, and contextualizing classical Islamic scholarship for the next generation. His areas of interest include Qirāʾāt, Nashīd, and social activism.

Upon returning to the United States, he continued his pursuit of Islamic scholarship and completed a Master’s degree in Islamic Theology.
