Hajj 2027 › Your Nusuk Companion
Your Nusuk Companion
Hajj for US pilgrims runs through one official website. We walk you through it, stage by stage, so you know what to do, what to watch for, and when to ask for help.
One official platform
Registration, packages, payment and visa all happen on hajj.nusuk.sa.
There is no Hajj app
The everyday Nusuk app is for Umrah and Rawdah bookings only.
We guide, Nusuk books
We advise and support. We do not sell Hajj visas or take bookings off the platform.
Three things to remember
Do not use a tourist, transit or Umrah visa for Hajj. Never send Hajj package money to an individual or an unofficial agent. And before you enter any details, check that the address reads hajj.nusuk.sa.
The 2027 timeline: what is known?
These windows are estimates, not official deadlines, and they may shift substantially. Follow Nusuk announcements, not third-party predictions.

The 10 stages on Nusuk
Tap a stage to open it. Each one lists what to do and the one thing not to miss.
1Create your Nusuk accountUse your actual residence and identity information.
- Go directly to hajj.nusuk.sa and begin official registration.
- Select your country of residence and enter a working email.
- Verify any registration email or one-time code promptly.
- Use strong credentials and keep them secure.
Your action: Check whether the 1448H / 2027 application cycle is actually open.
2Upload required documentsUpload readable, consistent information for each pilgrim.
- Passport image: every detail legible and unobstructed.
- Photo: follow the current Nusuk specifications. A free resizing tool is available at saudivisaphoto.com.
- Confirm names, dates and document numbers exactly.
- Check passport validity, upload status and any rejected files.
Your action: Use original identity documents and confirm the exact 2027 photo rules.
3Complete the applicationTreat every field as a verification checkpoint.
- Fill in nationality, residence and personal details accurately.
- Provide the travel and eligibility details Nusuk asks for.
- Add eligible companions, and confirm rooming and family arrangements.
- Review every pilgrim profile before final submission.
Your action: Each companion may need a separately verified profile.
4Application verificationSubmitted does not mean verified, or accepted for Hajj.
- Track your profile status inside Nusuk and watch your email.
- Respond quickly to any correction or resubmission request.
- Expect processing times to differ between applicants.
- Escalate persistent errors through official Nusuk support.
Important: Do not book irreversible travel just because you created an account.
5Select your preferred categoryBuild a shortlist before sales open.
- Review the package categories and service levels you are eligible for.
- Weigh budget, trip length and hotel expectations.
- Decide whether keeping your family together is essential.
- Remember that a preference does not reserve any inventory.
Your action: Have a primary package choice and realistic backup options.
6Top up the Nusuk e-walletPrepare funds only through the official payment screen.
- Wait for Nusuk to enable the e-wallet on your account.
- Review full pricing, top-up methods and currency conversion.
- Budget for fees, personal costs, card limits and exchange rates.
- Read the refund, leftover-balance and failed-payment rules before you add funds.
Important: Never transfer Hajj package money to an individual or an unofficial agent.
7Browse authorised service providersCompare the operator that delivers the actual services.
- Study the licensed provider listed inside Nusuk.
- Compare accommodation, transport, Mashair camp and support.
- Check flight routing, airport and city order when it is shown.
- Read the inclusions and exclusions instead of relying on marketing.
Your action: The provider shown in Nusuk is the authority for the package you select.
8Select your packageThe cheapest package is not always the best fit.
- Shifting means a hotel change around Hajj. Non-shifting means one Makkah base.
- Inspect flights, nights, room occupancy and meals.
- Understand your Mina, Arafat and Muzdalifah camp and transport choices.
- Compare walking distance, accessibility and total inclusions.
Choosing a Mina camp? See our camp guide.
Your action: Save the package details and terms before you book.
9Book your packageAvailability is limited, and payment confirms your selection.
- Be signed in before the announced sales window.
- Confirm your traveller list, exact inclusions and total price.
- Finish the official Nusuk checkout within any time limit.
- Save your transaction confirmation and booking reference.
Important: A verified application is not a confirmed seat. A completed booking is different.
10Review your final itineraryCheck every document as the details become available.
- Confirm travel dates, airline itinerary and accommodation.
- Watch for your Hajj visa or permit and your travel documents.
- Confirm airport arrival, pickup contacts and transport handoffs.
- Report any discrepancy immediately through official channels.
Your action: Do not travel without the required, valid Hajj documentation.
The exact order and names of screens on Nusuk can change between seasons. If something looks different, trust the official site.

Let’s begin
Start with your passport. It takes the longest to fix.
Residency proof and photo rules depend on your situation. Always check the current requirements on Nusuk.
Visa, flights and health
A Hajj booking involves regulated immigration and health steps. These are the points people miss.
Visa, permit and flights
- Check your visa and permit status inside Nusuk before you depart.
- Match your name, passport, birth date and entry and exit dates exactly.
- Never use a Saudi tourist, transit or Umrah visa for Hajj.
- Follow the package flight rules, and do not assume flights can be changed freely.
- Confirm the official visa validity and your approved travel dates.
Health and vaccination
- Check the official 1448H / 2027 Saudi health circular once it is issued.
- Under prior guidance, the MenACWY meningococcal vaccine was required for Hajj travellers aged 1 and over, given at least 10 days before arrival and within its validity period.
- Ask a travel-health clinician about other vaccines, chronic illness and medication.
- 2027 requirements may differ. Please do not treat the 2026 rules as final.
Mistakes that can cost you a booking
Most of these are easy to avoid if you know about them early.
Leaving the passport late
Renew early, and upload clear, good-quality photos the first time.
Thinking “verified” means “booked”
Registered and verified are steps. Only a completed booking holds your place.
Missing the sales window
Be signed in early, keep your card ready, and act on any payment failure straight away.
Skipping the fine print
Read what the package includes and leaves out before you pay.
Paying unknown middlemen
Do not rely on social media promises or send money outside the platform.
Not checking the website
Use hajj.nusuk.sa, and verify the address before sharing your login.
